Describe your equipment/facilities (camera, lights, studio, backdrops, etc.)?
Canon DSLR's (xxd series), 5 Alien Bee's, Misc fabric and paper roll backdrops. In winter I shoot in a bar, in summer in a large garage. Also have many lakes and beaches nearby.

What days of the week, and times of day, are best for you to shoot?
Sundays and most evenings are great. (Except Friday and saturday nights.)

How far are you willing to travel for that special shoot?
WIll travel up to two hours.

What features/measurements are most important to you when choosing a model?
I like a pleasant disposition, expressive face and the ability of the model to do more than just stand there and look at me.

What types of shots do you need to see in a model's portfolio to make a decision (e.g. full length, close-up without ...
I like to see full length, 3/4, head shots. Also great to see swimwear or lingerie.

What is your next pet project?
Ongoing projects of maternity, sexy bride and intimate portraits.

Other than online, where do you find the best models?
Word of mouth, referrals from previous models.

What are your favorite and least favorite things about Model Locate?
It's one of many sites I'm on. I like it, but wish traffic were higher.

How are the photos you shoot used?
for model's portfolio, for mine, for magazine submissions, porttaits for model's lover, etc.

What is your formal education (if any) in photography, and how long have you been shooting?
Took photography electives in college though art and journalism departments. Worked part time for studios and papers starting in high school. Considered a career in it about 35 years ago, but was lured away by a job with benefits. Got back into it 5 years ago with purchase of first dslr.
